SEO can be a very daunting especially for newbies, and I admit, most of my stuff is on the advanced side so I decided to create a “Seo Quick Start Guide” to help explain the basic process in an easy visual format.

The video below goes into a little more detail about each step. I also had to cut out a section of the video (so I could meet YouTube’s 10 minute guideline) where I talk about asking if anyone else knows of good places to get non optimal linking done. You know, something we can outsource to to get links up in places that generally don’t carry a link juice punch but would take care of those non optimal links we need to get done. I am compiling a list and would like it to be as complete as possible before I release THAT process map lol.

Also, my Home Study Course is coming right alone and right now if you pre order, you get my Advanced SEO Workshop recordings. (which probably won’t stay attached to that for long) They are half gone now, sooooo 😉

  1. Nice video on SEO. Good tips on keywords. I especially liked the information on using links, backlinks and non-optimal keywords!

  2. Hi,

I just got your 7-step SEO Power-Guide, but the link to Step 7 appears to be broken. I tried several times already. Could you help?

    Thanks!
    Lucy

  3. I learned a lot from the 7 step guide – thank you.

I have a couple of questions: What is the difference between an expired domain and a dropped domain (you say we need to avoid dropped because it is no longer considered aged)?

How can we find out whether the domain we are considering buying may have some negative history, e.g. banned or deindexed because of spam pracitices in the past or affiliation with bad content?

  4. great video….gives a step by step procedure…but step 7 has some error…nyway good information,especially on non-optimal keywords

  5. Great article. I know for sure that submitting to articles works to rank higher in Page Rank on Google. Can we automate this please? What if you had a software to submit to many directories in one go?

  6. Hi Dori,

Great Information your sharing but I’m unsure about something, it’s about buying deleted domains and 301 redirects.

    Have I got this correct?

    1) You buy a deleted domain related to your niche and keywords?

    2) If you can’t buy a deleted domain that’s keyword related you then buy a deleted domain and do a 301 redirect to your new domain which is keyword rich?

    3) When doing a 301 redirect, does the deleted domain need to be in the same niche as the new domain your 301 redirecting to?

It’s a little confusing, can you clear this up for me?

    Thanks

    Tom

  7. Some time before, I really needed to buy a car for my corporation but I did not have enough money and couldn’t purchase anything. Thank heaven my friend adviced to get the personal loans at banks. So, I did that and used to be happy with my financial loan.
