Directory Maximizer Test Results

I don’t think I will stop using Directory Maximizer since I have been using them for so long. (and glad I did the test just to qualify them again) I am looking for other resources that are effortless in getting our non optimal linking done. (I will test about 5 or 6, so if you have any, email me:-)

  1. this directory is best for me and i don’t think so that I will stop using this directory.so I am also suggesting my friend to use.best of luck

  2. That’s a shame about Directory Maximiser but it seems a lot of these companies don’t have a great reputation. I’ve recently been using G-Lock Fast Directory Submitter which is semi manual submission. It’s not perfect by far but it’s cheap, quick and it takes away the hassle of filling out all the info on the submission forms. It normally takes about an hour to submit to 100 directories and you can sort the directory list as you choose.

  3. There are so many better other ways of building links and getting a site indexed that are free that I would totally forget about the Directory Maximiser. That is ridiculous if Sherri’s blog is still not indexed after 3 months when it is possible to get a site indexed within days using other free and easy methods.

  4. Those types of links are good when topping up link strength, but if you have a new site – Directory maximizer is the last place to go. It is like shooting yourself in the foot, new site, no link strength, get a bunch of low value links, and algorithms catch it right away.

So basically, you used it wrong! Done right though, it can take a moderately strong site and help spread its wings across more terms. But that means you need to start with the dirty work first and get good quality links first. Good luck!

  5. I had mixed results with DM. I didn’t understand much about SEO when I used them, and paid for 50 links. My site did fly up 30 pages or so on Google for a few weeks but then dropped off again after that. My site does have however, a PR of 2 which mostly must be down to DM. Though none of the links show on Google Webmaster. I think use DM as a kind of cushion, but for real search engine results use article submissions and press releases for SERPS gains.
